We went to St. Louis twice this year. First, we went to visit Jerry for his 21st birthday in March. Caitlin and Isaac came along too. Our car was full!

This is the house that Jerry lived in for his last year at WashU. His apartment is upstairs on the right.

We went to watch Jerry play, but it is very cold in March

Davey and Isaac went up to the top of the arch and took some photos.

There is a museum on the ground floor of the arch.

Geof and Judy went to Union Station while the boys were at the arch. We told them to meet us at the Adam's Mark hotel. They went inside because it was so cold.

The boys stayed with Jerry at his place.

The second time we went to St. Louis was for Jerry's Graduation ceremony at WashU in May. We had both Geof's mom, Florene, and Judy's mom, Ma, with us in St. Louis for Jerry's graduation. We had them share a hotel room because one can read, and one can remember!

Caitlin, Jerry's fiancee, puts up with Geof's jokes very well. Here, Geof has placed the camera on the lazy Susan and is sending it around to take pictures of people at the table.

Florene arrives.

At dinner at the local Red Lobster.

The receptionist was nice enough to take a picture of the whole group.

Judy's mom knitted this sweater for Judy. The yarn is a nice mohair that Judy bought on sale at Christmas time. She didn't buy enough at first; she needed an extra skein or two so that Ma could make sleeves.

Lots of people at the graduation ceremony.

It was a beautiful day. Fortunately, the rain ended earlier in the week, so the weather was good, but the grounds were a little muddy.

Ma was impressed with the water bottles, custom-printed for the graduation ceremony.

A sea of caps contrasted against he beautiful stone buildings.

After the ceremony.

Proud (and poorer) parents.

Judy gets a hug from the graduate.

At lunch after the graduation ceremony.

On to the Budweiser brewery for a tour.

Ma enjoyed the horses.

It was really cold in the fermentation room.

Cool architecture all around.

To Charlie Gitto's for dinner.

We told the restaurant that we were celebrating Jerry's graduation from WashU, so they brought him a little cake!

We had to take the grannies up to the top of the Gateway Arch.

Lots of things are at the museum underneath the Arch. The museum features the Lewis and Clark epidition.

Judy poses for a picture with a bull horn sticking ouf her head.

Geof couldn't resist a turn.

We went to a local spot for lunch.

Baseball was going on, but we didn't have time to go.

We took the grannies on a tour of the Wash U campus.

Driving back to Tulsa, we stopped to take Ma to Merimac Caverns.

Two teens goof off with the merchandise in the souvenir shop.

We are getting ready to leave.
