Judy decided to take exrtra pictures of her food preparation techniques and include instructions for the boys so they can duplicate (almost!) their favorite meals Mom prepares. This is the beginning for beef and brocolli.

Cut into strips...

Slice thin against the grain of the meat...

add the spices...

make the cornstarch thickener...

Yum, yum, yum.

Don't forget the rice.

Geof is helping grind duck meat for sausage. We are getting lots of duck (see the "Hunting" section of the CD).

Ground duck and pork for sausage.

Add spices, extrude into cases, and smoke. Summer sausage! Tasty!

We also make a duck bratwurst.

Chicken Normandy.

David and Geof shot four geese. Here is one we plucked and Judy stuffed.

It is a beautiful thing coming out of the oven.

A few mashed potatoes, gravy, and we are set for a great dinner. Canadian geese are tasty.

Jerry made it home for Thanksgiving from Houston. How could he miss Mom's Thanksgiving dinner?

The turkey was gorgeous!
