Pig Roast 2007

We decided to have a pig roast to celebrate William Cornell's release from prison. The pig was a little frozen when we got it, so we started thawing him. Hey! He's missing a foot! We wuz cheated!

Here's the pig just after coming off the smoker. Peel back the skin and see the tasty meat.

All the meat goes into pans for the serving table. Some people don't like to see a whole roasted pig.

Lots of people came, including some of Jerry's WashU friends. This is Aaron Friedman.

We counted over 80 people at the gathering. Judy says, "I am NEVER doing that again!"

Steve Whitehead (one of Jerry's friends from WashU), William, and Jerry had almost identical shirts purely by accident!

William took the mike to thank everyone for supporting him and especially to thank Lori for sticking with him. It was good for William and Lori to see that they have so many friends.

Everyone was touched with William's frank confession and sincere apology.

Judy's mom had never met William, but commented later on his sincerity. She was also amazed to see how many friends we have! Behind Ma are Charlie and Dianne Grubbs, and Dianne's mom, Ruby Carter.
