One morning heading out for the paper, Geof encountered a few notes on our driveway written in chalk.

Maybe this is the latest craze. It sure is a lot better that wrapping houses in toilet paper!

Dave finished 8th grade last year and started high school at Booker T. Washington High this year. Here's Dave ready for the 8th grade prom.

Here's a veiw of Jerry's dorm for his second year at Wash U. He shares a suite with five other guys and this is the living area.

Notice how messy it is even before the boys got fully moved in.

This is a futon that Jerry bought at the end of spring semester. He stored it in Julie's house over the summer. It has already come in handy when Davey slept on it during our last visit.

Over the summer, Jerry decided to get a big George Foreman grill. He and his friends grill food on their small balcony.

This the Jerry's bedroom, that he shares with Aaron Friedman.

 

This is Andrew, one of Joey's friends from Parkview Baptist Church. Andrew is sometimes Joey's chaffeur.

This is Jerry with Caitlin McVey, a senior from TSAS who is applying to WashU. They went to a semi-formal dance one weekend.

Jerry had a Peter Pan Party one evening. Here he is beginning his costume as Mr. Darling.

David is the artistic one. Here he is painting on a mustache using eye black!

The kids gather to watch a movie, and they are supposed to come dressed as one of the movie's characters.

Judy bought a Mac several years ago for work. No one used it much. Then she upgraded to iLife '05 which included "Garage Band". Joey took one look at that software and the Mac has been in his possession ever since. Now he sometimes lets Mom use it for work.

Joey's t-shirt is the subject of much debate.
