Early in the year, Judy donated 12" of her hair to "Locks of Love", a charitable organization that takes the hair to make wigs for needy children. |
Davey and Mom rented a "SpyKids" movie. You could watch it in 3D if you happen to have the glasses. Believe it or not, I happen to have some lying around (doesn't everyone?). |
A tree branch in our backyard cracked and fell on the neighbor's gazebo. Fortunately, no damage was done either in our yard or to the neighbor's property. |

Jerry is applying to colleges this fall. Rather than applying to one school at a time, he decided to do all the schools in one day. He worked on one machine in my office..... |
Judy helped him by gathering forms on the internet on my laptop ... |
We printed forms on the laser printer, and envelops on the inkjet printer. |
Jerry spread out his papers in the sunroom. He's only applying to 5 schools (Rice, Princeton, Washington U, UMissouri - Rolla, and TU), but there were so many forms! |
Davey is a great cook. Jerry is not so good. Here they are, making some sort of snack for themselves. |
Dave was helping to cook a special recipe -- chicken with crawfish stuffing. He wanted to be in charge of the presentation, and he did such a beautiful job that we had to take a photo. |
Last year, Judy was teaching the history of Israel in Bible Study to 3rd and 4th graders. We happened to be studying the book of Esther when it was Purim, so we decided to make some hamentaschen to bring for the children. |
Davey's 6th grade class traveled to Oklahoma City on a field trip, visiting the state capitol and the memorial of the OKC bombing victims. |
This is on the ceiling of the state capitol building. |
Each child received a commemorative photo of their visit. |
Joey had his braces removed this spring, after being in them for about 2 years. We took this photo the day before the braces came off. |
When Judy was in Chile this summer, Geof rebuilt her main machine and put in a second monitor. It's very handy. Now she can work twice as fast, and should only need to work half the time! |
Our Christmas tree for 2003 filled up with a lot of presents. This is just a start. |
A rare treat in Tulsa -- real, live jazz! Ramsey Lewis was in concert so we went with our good friends, Jim and Jody Ellison. It was a great evening. |

Our nutty dog, Sheba. |
